One real run: the selfie on the left went in, the video came out. Face, hair and outfit come from the photo; every move comes from the goal.

The video we got back
Three beats, one viral clip
Every video follows the same three beats and the same timing as the goal. Only the player changes.
Beat 1 · 0–3s
The chip
You run onto the ball, the keeper rushes out and dives, and you lift it over him with your first touch.
Beat 2 · 3–8s
The bounce
The ball drops out of the floodlights, bounces off your chest, and you carry it on towards goal.
Beat 3 · 8–14s
The slide
Two defenders slide in. You stop, wait, let them go to ground, and go on to shoot at the empty net.
The trend
What is the Ozil goal AI trend?
It is a short vertical video where an ordinary person, in their own clothes, scores one of the coolest goals of the last decade. The goal is Mesut Ozil's late winner for Arsenal at Ludogorets in the Champions League on 1 November 2016: he lifted the ball over the keeper, then stopped in front of an open goal and waited for two defenders to slide past before finishing.
The AI version keeps that move and swaps in you. Nobody films anything: you upload one photo and the AI rebuilds the goal with your face, hair and outfit. The funniest clips star people who look nothing like footballers, such as a mum in a cardigan or a colleague in a suit.
How it works
How to make an Ozil goal AI video in 3 steps

Photo tips
Get a good result from the first upload
The AI keeps what it can see in your photo: face, hair and clothes.
Face large and clear
A selfie or half-body photo, even light, looking at the camera. A half-body photo is fine: the AI finishes the outfit below the waist in matching colours.
One person, nothing on the face
Only you in the photo. Sunglasses, hats, masks or a hand over the face make the likeness drift.
Skip plain green or white tops
The defenders in the clip wear green and the keeper wears white. A top in those colours makes it harder to tell you apart.
Your outfit is half the joke
A cardigan, a suit or a dress looks funnier scoring this goal than a football kit. The video keeps the clothes from your photo.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is the Ozil goal AI video trend?+
It recreates Mesut Ozil's late winner away at Ludogorets in the Champions League (1 November 2016): he chipped the onrushing keeper, waited as two defenders slid past, and tapped into the empty net. Fans now use AI to put themselves in that moment and post the clip on TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
How does the Ozil goal video generator work?+
Upload one photo and press Generate. The AI puts the person in your photo into a re-made clip of the goal and repeats the same moves — chip over the keeper, wait as two defenders slide past, shoot for the empty net. Face, hair and clothes come from your photo. You get a 14-second vertical 9:16 video with crowd sound, in 720p by default or 1080p if you choose. It may not look exactly like you.
How long does it take?+
Usually 4–5 minutes; at busy times it can take up to 15. It is still working even if nothing seems to change. You can keep the tab open, or close it and come back later in the same browser — the finished video waits in the generator. If a render fails, your credits are returned automatically. Download it from this site to keep a copy.
How much does it cost?+
A 720p video uses 100 credits and a 1080p video uses 250 credits. One-time packs: $9.90 for 100 credits (one 720p video), $19.90 for 300 credits (3 videos), $44.90 for 1,000 credits (10 videos). No subscription, credits stay valid for 12 months. There is no free video.
How do I pay?+
The payment method is PayPal: a PayPal balance or a card PayPal accepts. Other payment methods are not offered.
Do I need an account?+
Yes, a free account so your credits are saved. You can pick your photo first; we ask you to sign in when you press Generate.
What if the video fails or looks wrong?+
Purchased credits are not refundable. If a render fails or times out before you get a finished video, those credits are returned automatically. Nothing here limits a right that the law does not let us exclude. If a mandatory consumer right, including a statutory withdrawal right, applies where you live, contact legal@ozilgoalaivideo.org.
What photo works best?+
One person, face clearly visible, front-facing, good light, no sunglasses or heavy filters. A selfie or half-body photo with a large, clear face works best, so the face in the video looks most like you. Upper body only is fine — the rest of the outfit is filled in to match. The video keeps the clothes you wear in the photo.
What happens to my photo?+
The photo is stored only to generate your video and is sent to the video provider for that request. We do not sell it or use it to train models. Photos are set to expire 24 hours after upload. Automatic cleanup can be later than 24 hours. We do not promise the file is physically deleted within 24 hours. Finished videos stay available to download and are not removed by that photo cleanup. Email privacy@ozilgoalaivideo.org to delete a photo or video sooner.
How do I download, and what are the limits?+
Download the finished video from this website while you are signed in. You only get the finished video for that task, saved as ozil-goal-ai.mp4. Limits: 100 credits per 720p video or 250 credits per 1080p video, 14 seconds, vertical 9:16, with sound. One photo, JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB. There is no free video.
Can I post the video on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube?+
Yes, there is no watermark. Post it as a fan-made AI parody and do not present it as real match footage.
Is this official?+
No. This is an independent fan/meme tool and is not affiliated with Mesut Ozil, any club, league or competition. It does not use real match footage. Only upload photos of yourself or people who agreed.
